Kadva Patidar Samaj picnic is memorable

CHICAGO, IL — More than 800 members and invited guests had a great time at a picnic organized by Kadva Patidar Samaj of Chicago at Busse Forest South Northwest Division Grove#5 and 6 in Elk Grove Village in IL on July 1.

Manoj Patel, president of KPS, drew a big applause when he announced that a health camp will be held on September 30, Navratri in October 2018 and Diwali party in November.

While secretary Vijay Patel recalled events of the past year, treasurer Satish Patel gave details about the accounts of Samaj.

Jatin Patel, KPS trustee and game sponsor, handled games for kids, teens, adult men and women like rope pull, limbu chamcha, kothla dod, and water ball-on with prizes being given to winners.

Served soon were appetizers like mix pakora, corn, donuts, and masala tea as well as coffee. Ice cream was distributed by sponsor Manoj and Mega Patel, water melon by sponsor Himansu and Shilpa Patel and Satish and Heena Patel. Indian food was served for dinner.

At the end of program, Manoj Patel thanked food committee members like Vijay Patel,  Narendra Patel, Rajesh Patel, Bhagyesh Patel, Harshad Patel, Bharat Patel, Chhotu Patel and  Tejash Patel.
