Japan Olympic chief writes to IOA, assures Tokyo Games will go ahead as scheduled

Japan’s Olympic committee president, Yasuhiro Yamashita, has written to the presidents of all National Olympic Committees (NOCs), including Indian Olympic Association chief Narinder Batra, dismissing reports of the cancellation of the Tokyo Olympics scheduled from July 23-August 8 this year.
