Indian Doctors Can Now Practice in the US

In happy news for Indian medical graduates, they can now practice and pursue postgraduate training in the US. The National Medical Commission of India has been awarded the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) Recognition status for a period of 10 years. This ensures that Indian medical graduates can practice also in some other countries such as Australia, Canada and New Zealand. With this news all the existing 706 medical colleges in India become WFME accredited.The new recognition will increase the international recognition and reputation of Indian medical schools and professionals, facilitate academic collaborations and exchanges.
