Indian American Woman Swept by Floods in Zion Found Dead

SPRINGDALE, UT- In what can be called a sad end to the search party that was on for four days, Jetal Agnihotri has been found dead. Her body was found in the Virgin River in Zion National Park. Over 170 people were involved in the search party.

Her brother Pujan Agnihotri confirmed her sad demise.

29-year-old Jetal was a student at University of Arizona. She was studying hydrology and atmospheric sciences.

She met her end during a flash flood that happened when she was hiking at Zion National Park. While rescuers were able to save some other hikers, Jetal could not be saved.
