iCAN final nominees announced

OAK BROOK, IL- iCAN final nominations have been announced for a huge awards ceremony on March 18.

More than 300 probable nominees and guests have been invited at Double Tree in Oak brook IL.

The event began with salute to the Mother Land with Khushi Dave dancing and singing the Indian National Anthem. Jassi, Mohan and Komal welcomed all nominees and guests and said iCAN had a 75-plus member team.

Major title sponsors were STAR TV and Life OK, besides many gold, silver, and bronze sponsors.

“We have over 35 award categories, 80,000 social media viewers”, claimed Neil Khot of iCAN which honored Chicago’s Dr. Bharat Barai who was recently presented Padma Vibhushan by President of India Pranab Mukherjee.

Girish Kapoor gave information on iCAN’s success story. Sanjeev Singh and Jassi Parmar announced nominees and showed the sponsor video on the screen. Neil Khot and Rita Singh thanked the Golden sponsors.

iCAN did a random draw for nominees. Sanjeev Singh and Jassi explained about the present award process. Girish Kapoor and Ravi Rawat thanked silver sponsors.

Rita Singh and Ashraf Syed thanked Hi India’s Hemant Brahmbhatt and their representative photo journalist Jayanti Oza.

Jassi Parmar of Desi Junction Radio performed as an MC.

At the end of the event, iCAN arranged interview of nominees and sponsors.
