Hyderabad: Samantha Akkineni has now excelled in all kinds of roles – be it of a villager in ‘Rangasthalam’ or an open-minded journalist in ‘U-Turn’, she has always been seen in her best avatar.

Well, having done so many kinds of characters in films, ask her what genre she finds difficult to be part of, she says it’s ‘comedy’.

In an interview with ‘Bollywood Hungama’, the actor shares that she finds comedy films tougher than any other genre. “A lot of people say emotional or intense scenes are hard, but I personally feel comedy is the hardest. It is really really difficult. Especially writing a comedy for female actors is also very difficult,” shares the actor.

Talking about comedy timing being the most important of all, she adds, “The comedy timing is so so important that if you don’t have the right timing, you cannot do comedy. So, I personally feel comedy is very tough.”

Samantha will next be seen in an out-and-out Tamil comedy film called ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ along with Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi.

In a recent interview with ‘Pinkvilla’, Samantha Akkineni shared how she feels working with the other two leading actors in the film. “‘KVRK’ is an out-and-out comedy, a triangular love story, hilarious and it was super working with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. I believe that is a complete theatre film where people will be hooked from the start to the finish. I’m very excited for the film,” she said.

‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’s’ latest single ‘Two Two Two’ was released on September 18. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song was released on the occasion of director Vignesh Shivan’s birthday. The film is expected to hit the theatres next year.
