Gurgaon police register two cases of rape

Gurgaon, Oct 10 (IANS) Two separate cases of rape have been registered, Gurgaon police said on Monday.

In the first case, a 28-year-old woman has accused her doctor husband of rape and unnatural sex, and his family members of harassment and domestic violence.

According to the FIR registered at Sadar Police Station, the complainant has alleged that her 48-year-old husband doctor Subrat Saxena used to rape her.

The FIR also states that Saxena was already married, but the family hid the fact.

She further alleges that her father-in-law, Sunder Saxena, brother-in-law Sachin Saxena and sister-in-law Sonal Saxena used to harass and beat her.

Her valuables were stolen by the family members, living in a flat in Nirvana Country here on Sohna road, she has complained.

In the second FIR lodged with Sector 5 police, a 28-year-old woman has alleged sexual assault by one Shakir Ali.

The woman hails from Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh and is currently residing in a rented house in Ashok Vihar Phase 3 area.

She has alleged that Ali, who was known to her, entered her house on September 23 around 11 p.m. and raped her.

Police are yet make any arrests in either case.
