Garden State Equality to support Vin Gopal

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Garden State Equality (GSE), one of New Jersey’s largest and most active gay and lesbian rights advocacy organizations, has announced its intention to support Vin Gopal in his candidacy for the state Senate’s 11th District.

The Indian American Democrat is challenging long-serving state Sen. Jennifer Beck, a Republican, in the November election.

The GSE executive director added that Gopal is “someone we can count on,” and can “take him at his word.”
