Four robberies near the Red Line

CHICAGO, IL — Robbers have been holding people up at gunpoint on or near the Red Line, police said.

During four robberies in October, a thief or thieves carried a gun and robbed people on or near the Red Line or used force to take items from victims, according to a Chicago Police community alert.

The robberies occurred in the wee hours at 14 W. 95th Street twice (which is the 95th Street Red Line station), 15 W. 87th Street and 4 E. 95th Street.

The robbers were described as one to four boys or men who ranged in age from their teens to mid-20s.
