Four arrested for creating ruckus at community hall in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Four suspects who allegedly attacked some persons at a community hall over playing of music band during a function were arrested by the Nampally police on Tuesday.

According to the police, the victims had booked the community hall by paying Rs 12,000 to Ahmed who looks after its maintenance. On Monday, evening a dinner function was organised at the community hall and while the function was nearing its end, some friends of the groom arranged a music band.

Ahmed objected to playing the band and switched off the lights in the community hall resulting in an altercation between him and the guests at the function.

“Some people pushed Ahmed, following which one local Nazeer came and tried to sort out the issue. However, he was also pushed and soon few other locals rushed to the community hall and attacked those who were attending the function,” said Khaleel Pasha, SHO Nampally police station.

The police registered a case under Section 324, 448,427 and 506 of IPC r/w 34 of IPC against Nazeer and three others.
