‘DOLO Because YOLO’ : Twitter Gets Flooded With Memes As Indians Stock Up On This Medicine

We’re only one week into the new year and already, almost everyone I know went from ‘Happy New Year’ to ‘I have fever’ pretty damn fast. Riding the third wave – struck by either Covid or it’s variant Omicron, 2022 has had an infectious start, to say the least..

And if there is one thing that is keeping them going, apart from mindless social media  scrolling and binge-watching TV shows, it is a medicine that has acquired the status of a ‘sanjeevini booti’ among Indians – Dolo 650.

Ever since there has been a sudden rise in the number of COVID positive cases in the country, Indians have been stocking up on this medicine, pretty much the same way they did alcohol, when the government announced all wine and beer shops would be closed.
