Doja Cat wants to quit music. On Friday, i.e. March 25, Doja posted on her Twitter announcing that she is done with music and wants to quit after she was dragged by fans for not apologising to the ones who waited for her performance in Paraguay during the Asunciónico Festival where she was a headliner at the show.

Although the show being cancelled was not the Say So singer’s fault in any case since the authorities themselves stopped the performances due to flooding at the concert grounds, the fans are still disappointed that Doja did not apologise for not being able to perform as opposed to other headliners like Miley Cyrus who tweeted her regret with a video and Machine Gun Kelly who took matters into his own hands in Paraguay and did a mini-concert in front of his hotel for fans.

Meanwhile, there are many trolls on the internet fueling the Twitter jury against Doja by posting edited screengrabs of the singer liking a tweet which was disrespectful towards the Paraguayans. Besides these screengrabs circulating many are also upset about Doja’s since-been deleted tweets about how not even one fan came to see her off at her hotel when she was departing, fans are calling her “hypocritical” for these statements.

However, the fire spread further when she apologized to her Brazilian fans for not giving them a good enough show in a tweet. This triggered Paraguayan fans since they felt they were getting “ignored” by their favourite artist.

Following a series of since-deleted tweets, Doja wrote in a tweet finally giving in, “This s**t ain’t for me so I’m out. Y’all take care,” while she also changed her name on Twitter to “I quit.” Fans have since stood up in support of the artist whereas some others are still angry at her. Though according to reports, Doja Cat will be performing at her next stop in Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, Brazil.

For now, the situation is at a standstill and no one seems to know the right answer. Comment below and tell us what you think about Doja Cat‘s sudden resignation.
