Diwali Gala Hosted by Gujarati Samaj of Chicago

ELMHURST, IL— On November 3rd, Gujarati Samaj Of Chicago celebrated Diwali with a gala hosted at Water Ford Banquet hall in Elmhurst IL. More then 500 people were in attendance for this music and fun filled night. Entertainment was provided by the Oza Group, Sanjay Oza and his son Parth Oza. This father and son duo, along with the rest of their musical group, enchanted guests with their tunes.

After that program was began with Deep Pragatya ceremony by GSC President Dr. Manish & Reema Pandya, and GSC Past President Suryakant & Urvashi Patel and also recognized all sponsor of the event ‘Varanda Senior Living ( Dr. Anja Gupta, Vinodbhai Thakkar), Care For Soul, Inc., Ashok Shah supported to GSC.

GSC Present president Dr Manish Pandya announced year 2019 elected board members name. The 2019 Gujarati Samaj executive board members include President Dhitu Bhagwakar, Vice President Dakshesh Modi, General Secretary Bhavesh Shah, Jt. General Secretary Vatsal Shah, Treasurer Sandip Shah, Jt. Treasurer Yatinkumar Patel, Cultural Secretary Urvashi Patel, Jt. Cultural Secretary Chandrika Shah, Kamal Shah, Bhavita Sheth, Sanjay B. Shah, Nimesh Shah, Jayshree Thakkar, Neil Choksh, Praful Dave, and former President Dr. Manish Pandya.
