‘Divorce Virat Kohli: People Trolling Anushka Sharma For India’s Loss Is Extremely Insensitive

BUY-SELL | HELP WANTED | MATRIMONIAL

The much-awaited match between India and Pakistan ended on a disappointing note, with the Men in Blue losing by 10 wickets in their first game of the T20 World Cup. In India, cricket is not a game but religion and people don’t know how to handle loss gracefully so they find people connected to the players to blame. Anushka Sharma has always been blamed for Virat Kohli’s dull performance in the game and this time was no exception.

When India lost to Pakistan, people dragged her and left no opportunity to muck dirt on her. They blamed her for the loss and it was disgusting to see how people asked for proof of if she observed Karvachauth that day or not. They even went on to say that Virat blindly follows her and shouldn’t do the same. One of the users wrote, “How to change and advice bowlers not to bowl short length is something you should learn first…Don’t do Activism, your communist @AnushkaSharma wife is woke, don’t follow her.”

Another user wrote, “@AnushkaSharma you are bad luck to Kohli. After you came to his life, his performance has gone down and your leftist mindset (got from Khans to get movie). Please give him a divorce for the sake of India.”

Here’s how people trolled Anushka:

These hate comments for Anushka are extremely insensitive and totally uncalled for. We wonder how low is low? She is simply being trolled for being Virat’s wife and this is not okay.

This is sadly not the first time that Anushka has had to put up with the unfortunate trolling when Kohli’s performance has not been up to the mark in a game. From calling her a bad omen to golden duck, people have done it all to bash her and it’s high time this stops.

Back in 2016, Virat blasted the trolls for targeting Anushka for his bad performance. He had written, “Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was a long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don’t need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public. #nocompassion#nocommonsense.”

We don’t support such trolls as they are nothing but a reflection of a regressive society we are a part of. What do you think? How low is too low? Do let us know in the comments section below.
