In a day and age when most celebrities spend a considerable amount of time thinking about their public appearance and what clothes they should wear, MS Dhoni comes as a breath of fresh air.

Despite being one of the biggest names in world cricket, the former Indian wicket-keeper is known for his simple lifestyle and is miles away from fitting into the norms of an ideal celebrity, despite that, whatever he does on and off the field becomes a huge talking point.

Recently, a few pictures of ‘Thala’ eating lunch with his old friends at a garage went viral online and fans loved the simplicity of the Chennai Super Kings skipper.

Fans praised that despite being such a big superstar, he continues to live his life the normal way — something which is a rare commodity these days. 

The fact that Dhoni cared less about the ambience and enjoyed the food with his old mates at the garage was enough to win over the internet.

Dhoni’s love for camouflage t-shirts and cargo pants was once again evident in those pictures and he had paired them up with olive-green high-top boots.

More than his clothes, Dhoni’s hairstyle has undergone more changes but this time he has decided to give his hair a break and experiment with his moustache. 

Mahi celebrated his 40th birthday last week and the effects of his age have started reflecting on his appearance, most notably on his hair, moustache and beard.

However, what fans loved about him was that instead of hiding behind chemicals, Dhoni has accepted the changes that occur with age and has embraced them.

After winning everything that was there to be won, the Ranchi-born cricketer called time on his international career on August 15 last year.

However, he continues to lead his franchise CSK in the Indian Premier League and will return to action when IPL 2021 resumes in the UAE in September.
