Daddy, Suniel Shetty Reacts To Rumours About Daughter, Athiya Shetty And KL Rahul’s Wedding Buzz

With the upcoming wedding season, movie buffs are excited as they gear up to witness their favourite celebs walk down the aisle. However, with so many names added to this speculated list every day, it is one such name for whom the rumoured details, from wedding dates to guest lists, keep changing.

Well, it is none other than Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul. The duo, who met through common friends, have been dating each other for about three years. As avid social media users, the duo frequently shares mushy pictures with one another and are often spotted supporting each other in their respective endeavours. And now, adding to the buzz of their impending nuptials, Athiya’s daddy dearest, Suniel Shetty, shared a hilarious response to it all.

Denying any and all previous reports of the wedding dates to be fixed between January 21-23, 2023, the doting dad hilariously responded that he would be glad to attend the wedding once the media fixes the date. In his words:

 “Let me know when you get the confirmed dates so I can attend.”

Well, the buzz about Athiya and Rahul’s wedding gained massive momentum when it was reported that the latter had applied for personal leave in January 2023 to the BCCI, which was also approved. Further, it was also speculated that the couple and their respective families are gearing up for an entirely traditional South Indian wedding of the couple, which is set to take place at the Shetty residence itself.

As Suniel Shetty refutes any scope of his daughter’s wedding at the moment, a few months back, it was he, who mentioned that the family have let the responsibility to Athiya and Rahul to fix a wedding date for themselves, keeping in mind the hectic professional engagements of the duo.
