Cluster CC, NEPA register wins

SHILLONG, Jan 12: Cluster CC and NEPA registered convincing wins in their Shillong Cricket Association Second Division matches, here on Wednesday.
Earlier, Cluster were put in to bat by Inningstar and scored 88/9 in 10 overs, with Player-of-the-Match Md. Sameer scoring 27 runs off 20 balls and Ankit sharma hitting 23 runs in 13 balls. Kohmanhring Anal took 3/7 off 2 overs. In reply, Inningstar were restricted to 55/3 in 10 overs with Vijay Rai (20) top-scoring. Md Sameer took 2/5 from 2 overs to hand his side a 33-run win.
Later, Malki CC won the toss and batted first against NEPA, before being bowled out for 85 in 18.1 overs. Raymond Mylliempdah scored 20 runs. For NEPA, Manoj Kr Yadav took 3/11 while Player-of-the-Match Kundan Kumar took 3/13.
NEPA knocked off the required runs in only 12.2 overs losing 3 wickets. Subroto Sinha scored 43 while Peter Mylliempdah took 2/18.
