‘Chennai Express’ among top trends of 2013

New Delhi, Dec 29 : Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 2013 blockbuster "Chennai Express" has managed to get a spot in Google Zeitgeist’s list.

"Chennai Express" is the only Indian movie in the top trends of 2013 in the Google Zeitgeist’s list, said a statement. The list highlights top trending topics.

While superhero Hollywood films "Man of Steel" and "Iron Man 3" got the top two positions, respectively, the Rohit Shetty-directed Rs.75 crore comedy-action entertainer that minted Rs.216 crore is placed at number seven in the list.

Released in August, it hit over 3,500 screens in the country and 700 screens abroad including unconventional international markets like Peru and Israel.

Co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainments and UTV Motion Pictures, SRK had teamed up with Deepika Padukone for the potboiler that wooed the masses like never before.

The top 10 films are:
