Boca Juniors defeat River Plate 2-0 in ‘Super Classic’ match

Buenos Aires, May 4: Boca Juniors defeated River Plate 2-0 in the "Super Classic" match of Argentina's first division football tournament.

Boca Juniors won the match played in La Bombonera Stadium here with two goals scored from Cristian Pavon at the 83rd minute and Pablo Perez at the 87th minute on Sunday, reports Xinhua.

With the win, Boca Juniors reached 27 points, while River Plate stayed on 24.
