GOPIO Central Jersey Chapter Successfully Held Educational Seminar
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ- GOPIO Central Jersey Chapter (GOPIO-CJ) organized an educational seminar on legal, tax and financial strategies on Thursday, August 8, 2019, which was attended by more than 75 people at Ember Restaurant in South Brunswick, NJ. The event began with welcome and descriptive history of GOPIO and Central Jersey Chapter by President Dr. Tushar Patel. Dr. Patel applauded the services of Dinesh Mittal and Dr. Rajeev Mehta who were the pioneer of Central Jersey Chapter almost 11 years ago. He also provided warm introduction of the speaker for the seminar Mr. Neel Shah who is very well known and expert in legal, tax and financial matters. The event was free of charge to all pre-registered participants which also included appetizers and dinner.
The discussion topics for the seminar were tax panning, wills, trust and estate planning, asset protection planning, business planning, income tax strategies, long term care cost protection, elder law, Medicaid planning, retirement planning and many more services related to finance, legal and taxes. Mr. Neel Shah provided outstanding and useful information for more than an hour on these topics and some of the information was an eye opener for many participants. The information provided by Mr. Shah was in a simple language which was understood by common people which was the highlight of the evening. The questions/answers session lasted almost 30 minutes and all aspects of the queries came from the audience and wonderfully addressed by Mr. Shah. Mr. Shah has been assisting families of Indian origin with their financial, legal and tax matters and provides valuable advice and recommendations for sound financial planning to save taxes as well as protect their wealth.
GOPIO-CJ completed 10 years in 2018 and organized 10th Anniversary Gala along with Community Recognition & Awards Banquet to recognize accomplished individuals from various fields of medicine, legal, business entrepreneur, pharmaceutical, public service and young entrepreneur categories. In addition in October 2018, GOPIO organized multi-disciplinary health summit at the Consulate General Office in NY which was very well received by the attendees. GOPIO was established in 1989 and has been a leader in the world to fight for human rights violation against people of Indian origin and since its inception has taken many initiatives to include PIO and OCI services.
The next GOPIO event will be a Health Summit, third edition which will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TV Asia Auditorium in Edison, NJ.
