Director Shekhar Kapur says he had zero knowledge about filmmaking before he made "Masoom".
"I discovered filmmaking along the way as I made ‘Masoom’. I hade zero knowledge or experience before that. All my my life I have followed this experience. The best way to learn to do anything is by doing it," Kapur tweeted on Monday morning.
Released in 1983, "Masoom" told the story of a family man whose everyday domestic life turned upside down when he discovers that he has an illegitimate child from a past affair. It featured Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Supriya Pathak and Jugal Hansraj and Urmila Matondkar as child actors.
