Subramanian Swamy cancels USA tour mid-way
Subramanian Swamy, chief of Janata Party, who was on a lecture tour of the USA from June 1 to June 25 cancelled his tour owing to some urgent work and returned to India on June 17.
This was to be followed by his visit to China to participate in the Foreign Ministers/dignitaries’ conference which was held in China on June 25. He was given a sendoff by his supporters and well-wishers.
During his tour Subramanian Swamy visited New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Miami, Florida; Easton, PA; Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and South Jersey.
Swamy who has emerged in the USA as the second most popular Indian politician, next only to Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi, addressed 10 very big meetings and 7 small meetings.
He was interviewed by several TV Stations and newspapers. He spoke at length on almost all the problems with which India is confronted, answered the questions from the audience, and suggested solutions to all the problems.
Because of his busy schedule on the East Coast, Swamy could not go to the West Coast. However, he promised the community leaders that he would come back soon in a couple of months to accede to their request.
