Biden Nominates Indian American for Key Transportation Role

WASHINGTON, DC- Joe Biden has nominated Shailen P Bhatt as the administrator for the Federal Highway Administration of the US Department of Transportation.

At present, Bhatt is serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Transportation Innovation and Alternative Delivery at AECOM, which is a global infrastructure consulting firm.

Before this Bhatt was in the role of Executive Director at the Colorado Department of Transportation. He was also a Cabinet Secretary of the Delaware Department of Transportation, and has worked as a presidential appointee with the US Department of Transportation.
