Bhartiya Senior Citizens hosts memorable picnic

CHICAGO, IL — Over 900 people attended a picnic hosted by the Bhartiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago organized at Turner Park, Roselle IL on June 18.

Guests, who were treated to a variety of snacks like gota, jalabi, etc with tea, participated in games such as musical chair, limbu chamcha, bingo, volleyball winners were given various prizes.

After enjoying water melon and ice cream, they had pao bhaji for lunch.

Hari Patel, president of BSC, welcomed the guests, including Indian Citizens of Chicago’s Chandrakant Patel, sponsors like ‘Soul Care’.

At the end of the picnic, Gujarati meal was served. Parsotam Pandya and Madhu Patel thanked each and every one as also all board members and new volunteers who put their heart and soul to ensure a successful, enjoyable and memorable picnic.
