Ansari calls on Tajik President

New Delhi, Dec 17 (IANS) Vice President Hamid Ansari called on visiting Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon here on Saturday.

"Vice President Hamid Ansari calls on President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted along with pictures of the two leaders.

India and Tajikistan signed four agreements on Saturday following delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahmon, who is on his sixth official visit to India.

Rahmon was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the morning.
