American Association of Engineers of Indian Origin Inaugurated the Milwaukee Chapter

MILWAUKEE, WI-: Consul General of India Hon. Somnath Ghosh and Congressman Hon. Brian Steil lighted the Lamp and Inaugurated Milwaukee chapter of AAEIO. Milwaukee Chapter President Murali Ragavendran Welcomed the VVIPs and Introduced the Board to the Audience. AAEIO President Gladson Varghese talked about organization’s Vision, Mission and goals for next five years. University of Wisconsin, Dean of Sheldon Lubar College of Business Dr. Kaushal Chari talked what the organization should be doing in the field of Business and Innovation. He offered his full support for the organization. Milwaukee Tech Hub CEO Ms. Kathy Henrich talked how AAEIO Milwaukee chapter can tie up with Tech Hub in the field of Technology and Business.

Consul General Hon. Somnath Ghosh congratulated the AAEIO Milwaukee and national AAEIO team and asked them to open chapters in the entire Midwest and offered his full support. Congressman Brian Steil shared his experiences when he visited India and offered his support for the AAEIO Milwaukee chapter. Several Executives and Engineers from Johnson Controls, Harley Davidson, Northwestern Mutual, GE, Rockwell Automation, etc… attended the event. AAEIO Milwaukee chapter’s programs and goals for next year was presented by Secretary Ravi Annamalai, Treasurer Raghavan, Board members, Suresh Krishniah, Sunil Krishnan, Madhu Expedith, Asokan Thangaraj, Parminder Singh Goldy, Pravin Raikar, Ganesh Mayya, Siva Dakshinamurthy, and Jagdish Patel.

Organizations missions are Education and Mentorship through workshops / Seminars / Webinars / Conferences. Educate the AAEIO community about the latest in technology; AI applications, etc. Business and Professional Opportunities through development and Participation in networking and placement activities for AAEIO’s member base. Collaboration with other organizations both in the U.S. and India that can provide access towards skill development. Entrepreneurial Network, Motivate and support entrepreneurs in their endeavors. Promote access to engineering people, skills & technologies, Provide a networking platform for entrepreneurs.

Charity activities by providing merit scholarship for need based students. Fund engineering research assistantship on cutting edge technology to address global issues such as climate change. AAEIO aim to maintain and develop the identity of the group, and to provide a forum for Technical, Scientific, Educational, and Professional interaction and to leverage the group’s knowledge, expertise and experience. The event ended after great entertainments and lunch.
