Amanda Bynes to study in New York

New York, Oct 8:  Troubled actress Amanda Bynes plans to study psychology at a university here.

She had joined the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California last year after finishing a rehabilitation stint in December 2013, but was reportedly kicked out of the school last month.

The actress was spotted here recently and she returned to Twitter.com Tuesday after a five-month absence to tell fans she is checking out universities here, reports contactmusic.com.

She tweeted: "I’m transferring to Nyu (New York University) or Columbia from Fidm to study psychology, so you’ll see me in New York if you live here… Don’t believe anything the tabloids are saying about me. They dislike me for some odd reason & they continue to insult me everyday… Treat others how you want to be treated. The truth will set you free."

Bynes was charged with driving under the influence of drugs in California last month and is currently on bail.(Bollywood Country Report)
