A Grand Celebration Of The Annual Event by Indian Seniors of Chicago.

CHICAGO, IL- Annual festival, Diwali Milan and Azadika Amrit Mohotsav was organized by Indian Senior of Chicago on Sunday 15 October 2022 from 5 pm to 10:30 pm at Mahalakshmi Hall of Manav Mandir. In which 350 members attended. The whole program was organized in the hall which was beautifully decorated according to the occasion. The Executive Committee members welcomed all the members.

At 5:00 pm the members relished a sumptuous banquet and then took their seats. Secretary of the organization Hirabhai Patel delivered the welcome speech and on behalf of the entire Executive Committee requested the Chief Guest Mr. Chhotalal Patel, Chairman of Manavseva Mandir Mr. Dhyabhai Prajapati, Mr. Sandeep Patel, Mr. Dhiru Suvagiya and Mr. Shirish Patel to come on stage. Also Shri Rohitbhai Joshi, Smt Hasumatiben Patel and Mrs. Madhuben Patel were also requested to come on stage for the lamp lighting ceremony. Mr. Rohitbhai Joshi chanted the mantras and inaugurated the day by dignitaries present on the stage. Photographs were taken of the survey executive committee members and honorable guests.

Survey artists of Zhankar Bead’s Orchestra came on stage. Mr. Vijay Thakkar conducted the music program. The singers presented various items such as patriotic songs, old film songs, Gujarati songs, shayaris, bhajans, garba etc. in the three-hour song program. The senior brothers also performed rhythmic dance and garba on the floor to the tune of the music. The survey members present in the hall thoroughly enjoyed the musical program of Zhankar Beads.

Mr. Kanti Patel, Member of the Executive Committee, invited all the members of the Executive Committee and dignitaries present on the stage. The guests were introduced. The chief guest of today’s event Mr. Chotalal Patel was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers by President Dr. Narsingh Patel. The special guest Dr. Bharat Barai was welcomed by Mr. Chandrakant Patel and his wife Mrs. Panna Barai was welcomed by Mr. Dilip Patel, Mr. Dahyabhai Prajapati was welcomed by Mr. C.V. Desai, Mr. Devendra Parikh was welcomed by Mr. Nalin Shah, Mr. Pradeep Patel was welcomed by Mr. Bipin Shah. All the members welcomed all the dignitaries with thunderous applause. The dignitaries present on the stage gave speeches befitting the occasion. Seniors were guided by dignitaries present on Sanskar, culture and healthy life.

The executive member of the organization Mr. Manu Shah, the sponsors of today’s annual event, Mr. Chandrakant Gandhi, Mr. Dinesh and Sharda Patel, Dr. Hemali Shah, Mrs. Chintal Mehta; Mr. Satish Patel, Mr. Naisarg Patel, Mrs. Hansa Sambalia, Mr. Ashok Shah and Mr. Madhusudan Shah were requested to come on stage. And donors were honored. Sarve was gifted as a symbol of love. A photograph was also taken and all was felicitated.

Professor Navin Patel, Member of the Executive Committee gave the vote of thanks. The chief guest of the program, special guest Mr., trustees and administrators of Manavseva Mandir, President of Indian Seniors of Chicago Dr. Narsinghbhai Patel, all volunteers, survey members of Jankar Beats and present survey members were thanked. Mr. Photographer and Journalist Mr. Jayanti Oza was also thanked for his photography and videography throughout the program. all expressed happiness for the good program.

And the members parted happily.
