95 Afghans killed in Kabul airport blast

An unfortunate bomb blast in Afghanistan yesterday killed 95 Afghans. The Islamic State struck the crowded gates of Kabul airport in a suicide bomb attack which ended up killing civilians and at least 13 US troops. It primarily disrupted the airlift for thousands of Afghans who were desperate to flee away from their own country. It was reported that people at the front of the crowd were being crushed and that medical assistants were rushing from casualty to casualty. Several people hid in the corridors and behind the pillars being terrified. Given the prevailing chaos, these deaths seemed inevitable.
