900 participate in BSC’s anniv fete

 

BARTLETT, IL — On August 11, Bhartiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago celebrated its 10th anniversary at Jain Center in Bartlett with some 900 people participating in the gala event.

The event began with introduction of the BSC organization founded 2007 and its various activities and how it had grown with about 1,000 senior citizens as members on its rolls.

The program began with Deep Pragatya by Chhotu Patel (businessman), FIA president Sunil Shah and their board members Hitesh Gandhi, past president Mukesh Shah, Dr. Umang Patel, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, Deputy Consul of Chicago D B Bhati and many association representatives participated in the gala night.

FIA president Sunil Shah and his team handed over a $25,000 check to BSC president Hari Patel as support to elderly BSC members. BSC president Hari Patel thanked Sunil Shah and other donors for support BSC.

In a Bollywood music concert, ‘Masti ki Pathshala’, Aishwarya Majmudar entertained one and all for five hours by singing old and new Hindi film songs.
