6 Signs The Woman You’re Crushing On Is Actually Interested & Is Not Just Being ‘Nice’

You two have been talking for a couple of weeks now. Random texts have turned into full-blown conversations with some substance. 

She seems nice and even takes an interest in talking to you. Or so you think. It’s hard to tell, especially since you’ve had experiences in the past where you misread the situation only to find that the woman you had been so actively pursuing was just not that into you.

Which is why, this time around, the signals are trickier to read. You wouldn’t want to be made a fool out of again, but you also would never want to be the one who missed his shot  just because he didn’t know better.

And before you start pulling your hair out thinking how to navigate this slippery slope of knowing whether the woman you’re crushing on is into you or not, don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. 

Here are a few signs that prove she is definitely into you and isn’t just being nice:

1. She Makes & Holds Eye Contact

It is often said that people avoid making eye contact with the ones they don’t like. Perhaps that is why, when we do catch someone making eye contact with us, it is a telltale sign of them being interested in us. 

Maybe not always romantically, but it is when you find someone holding that eye contact while in conversation, not losing sight of you, things tend to become a tad bit obvious.

2. She’s Picking Up On Your Little Habits

A lot of the time, we tend to subconsciously pick up a few habits or words from people we are in awe of or spend a considerable amount of time with. 

Similarly, if the woman you’re talking to starts mirroring you, adopts your slang words and mannerisms, chances are you’re having more of an impact on her than you imagined. 

3. She Laughs At All Your Jokes

And by that, I mean, even the bad ones. 

Women tend to show more interest in people they’re attracted to and if she finds herself giggling and having a laughing fit at almost everything you say, including the painfully non-funny PJs, then it’s safe to say there is something about you which she adores and it’s not your comic timing.

4. She Finds An Excuse To Touch You

And by that, we mean in the sneaky/romantic way of making your fingers touch while walking side by side, touching your shoulder or your arm a little too many times during a conversation or even when she doesn’t get uncomfortable when on the off-chance you touch her hand. 

These are all signs of her having that comfort with you.

5. She Doesn’t Need Make-Up For Her Cheeks To Go Red

When you’re around her, you can’t help but notice her cheeks flush over every little thing you do or say, every compliment you give her.  

Most women find it extremely hard to not feel nervous or a tad bit embarrassed around someone they’re crushing on, and it is during this time that their facial expressions will tell you everything you need to know.

6. She Will Try To Keep The Conversation Going

It so happens, and ever so often, that while texting with someone you both fall out of all topics to talk about. 

Usually, when that sort of thing happens, neither of the party initiates to restart the conversation and let it die. But when one does try to kick start it back to ignition, it’s a sign that they are interested in talking to you and wouldn’t mind churning up new topics every time.
