Two Indian Americans Amongst American Mathematical Society Fellows 2022

Amongst the prestigious list of names in the American Mathematical Society Fellows for 2022 are also the names of two Indian American professors – Samit Dasgupta of Duke University and Santosh Srinivas Vempala of Georgia Institute of Technology. While Dasgupta is selected for his contributions top number theory; Vempala was chosen for contributions top randomized algorithms, high-dimensional geometry and numerical linear algebra.
