Harsh Goenka often tweets about various topics and sometimes, his focus shifts to cricket. His take on MS Dhoni when the former India captain was playing for his brother’s franchise — Rising Pune Supergiant earned him a lot of flak on social media back in the day.
Harsh Goenka took to Twitter to ask fans two names who they think should be using CEAT as bat sponsors in the future.
However, he stated a condition that one should be a senior player while the other has to be an upcoming star.
“Need your advice on whom should we contract for the future for using the #CEAT bat – please suggest one senior player and one upcoming?,” he tweeted.
Fans had a field day as they came with some of the most hilarious answers and most of them involved the reference of the current Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) secretary — Jay Shah.

Harsh Goenka had been at the receiving end of trolls for making subtle digs at MS Dhoni in the past. Harsh had taken a jibe at Dhoni when Pune appointed Australia’s Steve Smith as their skipper in place of MS Dhoni in the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League.

When the Covid pandemic had started to spread in India, Goenka urged citizens to do their part by purchasing from local vendors and help them earn their daily livelihood.
However, his words prompted a flood of reactions on Twitter with fans saying he should opt for an Indian captain, next time he buys an IPL team.
