Georgia Southern University Indian American Prof. Receives Hall of Fame Award

STATESBORO, GA- Dr Arpita Saha, an Indian American professor at Georgia Southern University was recently honored with a Hall of Fame award at the Regents’ Scholarship Gala. The event was attended by Governor Brian Kemp.

Saha was amongst the honorees at the recently held 17th annual Regents’ Scholarship Gala which was hosted by the USG Foundation.

Felton Jenkins Jr. Hall of Fame Award is the highest academic faculty award in the state of Georgia given by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents.

Saha is an associate professor of organic chemistry at the Statesboro, Georgia-based university.
