BENSONVILLE, IL — More than 1,100 members and devotees chanted "Bol mari Umiya Jai Jai Umiya" as the first Jyoti Rath arrived at Manav Seva Mandir in Bensonville IL.
Mandir president Raju Chauhan and Shree Umiya Dham Chicago’s Trustee Chhotalal Patel welcomed the Umiya Mata Rath with the puja performed by the shrine’s priest.
During the subsequent procession–Shobha Yatr–garba was played by all devotees. The temple also organized Satya Narayan Katha and Arti even as Umiya Dham Chicago Trustee thanked the Mandir team for hosting the event and the first ‘Padharamni’ of Shree Umiya Mata.
Narendra Patel thanked the maharajs of Manav Seva Mandir like Dr Bharat Bhai, Pradeep Bhai, Raju Bhai, Jayram Bhai, Dahya Bhai, Kamlesh Bhai, Umedh Bhai, Madhukantbhai, Piyushbhai, Ashvinbhai , Sandipbhai and many other devotees and team members of Shree Umiya Mataji, including, of course, Chhotalal Patel
Special thanks were given to Mafat Patel (Patel Brothers), Shankar Patel, Narasinh, Mansukh, Hari, Raman, Kanu, V T Patel, Dr Heena, Dr Hemant, Raju, Rajesh Desai and other leaders of different organizations and institutes.
Suresh Shah and Jayanti Oza were also praised for help and support to the community.
Marathon work was done by volunteers Mani, Satish, Gaurang, Kirti, Vijay, Chandrakant, Sunil, DV , Bharat and others.
The program ended with serving of Maha Prasad by Umiya Dham Chicago Unite.
