Arjun Kapoor and Alia say ‘Please Vote’

Mumbai, April 8: While most of the film fraternity is expected to be in Tampa Bay, USA for the IIFA awards when Mumbai goes to polls for the general elections on April 24, Arjun Kapoor will vote and only then leave. Arjun, Alia and author Chetan Bhagat urge everyone to vote.

Chetan Bhagat said, "I will be here and I will vote. If you think your future is important, then voting is important. I think people will vote, I am not going to lecture. I am nominated in IIFA but I am not going for IIFA, I will vote."

Alia Bhatt said, "We have been encouraging everyone to vote. I heard that around 12 crore voters are first-time voters. If even half of you vote then it makes a difference. It is very important to vote. So please do vote."

Arjun Kapoor urged everyone to vote saying, "Be a part of the change. We always complain that things are not happening but at least this is in our hands. So go and vote, it’s the least you can do for your country." (Bollywood Country Report)
